Joseph Ward

Joseph A. Ward is the Chief Financial Officer of Merakisis, a woman-owned wholesale distribution company. He was brought into the company shortly after it was created to support the company in two areas; finance and wholesale distribution. 

Joe has more than 40 years of experience in finance and HVAC wholesale distribution. He began his career in finance at PamecoAire, a regional subsidiary of Pameco Corp., a national HVAC wholesaler. PamecoAire was based in South San Francisco, with branches in the Western United States, Hawaii, and Guam. His final position at the company was President. Joe was known for his attention to detail, ROI expertise, creative thinking, and process improvements. 

Joe moved to Arizona as the Vice President of American Refrigeration Supplies (ARS). While at ARS, he was head of Operations, Human Resources, Accounts Payable & Receivables, and Information Technology. He was responsible for implementing a corporate-wide system for operations and information. Joe was also responsible for designing and implementing a standardized warehouse barcoding system and product website. He streamlined the annual inventory and 5-year forecasting procedures. 

Joe Ward’s significant strengths are executive management, accounting, and finance. He is strong in personnel development and contract negotiations. Streamlining processes and managing risk are also recognized as part of his strengths.
